In 1977, a modest German booklet called Topfpflanzen 1 catalogued pot plants. Nobody thought much of it.
Decades later, Wysocka / Pogo turned it into 36 original artworks — two separate Risograph prints, cut apart and hand-stitched back together on canvas.
Barthes said love and aversion are the same act: two ways of reading another being. Plants do it with chemistry. These artworks do it with scissors and thread.
What happens when two things that were never meant to meet get stitched into one?
