Dummy Dialogue
Dummy Dialogue is an editorial consultation service for photographers working on a photobook project or looking to sort out a sequence — at any stage, in any state of completion. Sessions take place in person at Tipi Bookshop, 186 Munthofstraat, Saint-Gilles, Brussels.
The session works directly with the physical object, or with digital files if nothing is printed yet. Printed material is preferred — handling the work as a physical object tends to open conversations that screens don't. Twelve years of engagement with the self-publishing landscape inform every conversation.
Each session is audio recorded. A written transcript is provided afterwards as a PDF, so you can give your full attention to the work during the session rather than taking notes.
